RECOMMENDED INSTRUCTIONS FOR IRONING APPLIQUES ON TEXTILES
Before ironing the patch, check the care and ironing instructions to ensure that your garment is
suitable for ironing. In particular, check the temperature required for ironing. If
the backing is not suitable for ironing, we recommend that you sew the patch on.
Ironing with an iron
1) Place the textile on a flat surface. Place the appliqué coated (shiny)
side of the garment.
for delicate garments on a medium temperature - no steaming! Cover the face of the motif
with a thin "ironing" cloth.
2) Iron the motif from the face under pressure for approx. 15 seconds. Let it cool down !!! and then
turn the garment inside out.
3) From the reverse side, iron under pressure for approx. 20-25 seconds. For delicate fabrics, use again
a thin "ironing" cloth.
4) Let the garment cool completely !!! and then check that the motif holds firmly.
If the motif does not stick firmly or starts to peel off after washing, you can
iron again as described above
Ironing on the sheet

side of the garment.
2) For cotton t-shirts, set the temperature to 160-170°C, pressure strong (1.4 kg/cm2), time
14 - 15 seconds. For baseball caps, set the temperature to 140 - 150°C, pressure medium
higher, time 15 - 17 seconds. Other materials are governed by the temperature allowed.
3) Allow the garment to cool completely and then check that the motif holds firmly.
If the motif does not hold firmly or starts to peel off after washing, you can
